Mr Youds is an experienced mining engineer and CEO, with considerable exploration, development and operational experience in Africa, Asia and Australia. Mr Youds previously served as Cauldron’s Manager of Operations from June 2012 until February 2016. Mr Youds is the former CEO of Afrian Iron, an iron ore explorer in the Republic of Congo, where he facilitated a A$388 million deal for its purchase by Exxaro Resources. Mr Youds has the proven ability to manage the development of mining projects from exploration to production. He has experience with various operating and development roles with Bibiani Gold Mine in Ghana and the Bulyanhulu and North Mara Gold Mines in Tanzania. During his career Mr Youds was Managing Director, Australia, of Consolidated Minerals Limited, which own and operate the Woodie Woodie and Coobina manganese and chromite mining operations, located in the Pilbara region of Western Australia. Also, he spent five years working as a member of the WMC team at Olympic Dam in South Australia developing the world’s largest uranium deposit. Mr Youds holds an MBA degree from Deakin University, Victoria, and is a member of the Australasian Institute on Mining and Metallurgy. Mr Youds is currently the CEO of ASX-listed company Vector Resources Ltd.
Jess Oram has over 20 years’ experience in mineral exploration in a wide variety of geological terrains and resource commodities with an accomplished track record in establishing and leading the exploration function of several companies. In uranium, Mr Oram was Chief Exploration Geologist for Heathgate Resources Pty Ltd where he was involved in mining feasibility studies of the Four Mine Uranium deposits and ‘team leader’ of a group of geoscientists involved in the discovery of the Pepegoona Uranium, Pannikan Uranium and Pannikan West Uranium deposits. Mr Oram has a Bachelor of Science (BSc), Geology major from the University of Queensland and is a member of the Australian Institute of Geoscientists (AIG).
Mr Qiu is a highly experienced industrialist with more than 26 years’ experience in the architecture, construction and real estate industries in China as well as over 16 years of experience in the management of enterprises and projects throughout the country. Mr Qiu has a MBA obtained from the Oxford Commercial College, a joint program operated by Oxford University in China.
Mrs Li has over 8 years of extensive international experience in hazardous chemical products. Judy has also been involved in international design works for global corporate and government clients while working for Surbana that is jointly held by two giant Singapore companies (Capital Land and Temasek Holdings). Throughout her career, Judy has contributed to building tighter relationships between corporates and governments. Judy earned her Masters Degree in Art with honours in Architecture from the University of Edinburgh in the United Kingdom.
Mr Zhou is an experienced financial analyst in the materials and energy sector. In his career, Mr Zhou covers an extensive list of junior to mature mining companies and has developed a good understanding of industry financing. Mr Zhou received his Bachelor of Science in Economics degree from Wharton Business School in 2013.
Ms Grant-Edwards has been Chief Financial Officer of Cauldron Energy since July 2013, and Company Secretary since January 2014. Ms Grant commenced her career at Ernst & Young, where she qualified as an Accountant with the Institute of Chartered Accountants Australia (ICAA) in 2007. Ms Grant has over 10 years' experience in accounting and finance and currently provides accounting and company secretarial services to several listed resource companies.
